There are times in life when your ideas and dreams will have you walk alone. Regardless of how many people surrounding you, there is no connection, or its surface at best. Their conversation is all about making money, and your thoughts are of how to improve a life. This is when you know you are having a metamorphosis, a life changing experience. These experiences are available to everyone; however only a few will capture them. If you’ve ever observed a caterpillar you know that he eats a lot, then incubation begins.
During this period of incubation many changes are taking place. I can not imagine that they all feel good, in fact I can even imagine that they are quite painful. Nevertheless, they must happen if the caterpillar should gain his beautiful colors of admiration. In relation to our lives this could be the many life changing experiences we encounter. There is much molding to take place by the Potter’s hands to be of use, and I can tell you, they won’t all feel good. It’s hard to engage, but we must experience the pain to obtain the passion.
If you are in a stage of metamorphosis you may be experiencing many life changes that will develop character, strength, and compassion. These are key elements that will prepare ones ministry, creating a connection and a heartfelt bond. They are vital in making the connection to a hungry, and thirsty soul. ( Matthew 5:6) I’d like to emphasize compassion because it is the connection creating the heartfelt bond between us. It is what makes us human when relating to other people’s pains, and without it you will surely miss your aim., to understand is to know, how can you relate without the experience? I am not saying that we must experience all things, but we must certainly have compassion for it.
Therefore, if your metamorphosis has not yet taken you through the tunnel of compassion, you may not have gained your colors, so the door may not open. I will say this….trust God for the day of your appointed time. His timing is perfect! A baby is in the womb of a woman for nine months, and when it’s time for delivery it’s SHOW TIME!
