Have you ever been accused of an act you did not commit, and found guilty as charged? Well….. this has happened to me a few times, needless to say it left me in a position of defense. If you have been unfortunate enough to have had this blessed experience , you know the argumentative strategies you need to apply to your case. I don’t know about you, but I don’t enjoy defending myself for acts  I have not committed. Nonetheless, this conflict was presented to me on a silver platter, and I was left to collect the broken pieces as I fought to bring these accusations to resolve.

I have found that in every  situation there is a learning opportunity, and in those cases I was amazed at how people will know what is true, and are given an opportunity to tell the truth, but will lie to save their own…..well for a choice of better words, I’ll just insert face. These are people who you thought of as possible friends….ouch! Yes.  The ones that you dine with, bring to your home, introduce to your family, and they could care less about the value you place on their friendship.

Well during my period of reflection on the matter, I thought of  someone else who was wrongfully accused, and forsaken by his friends, he was beaten and spat upon by his enemies, and made to carry a rugged cross to Golgotha Hill, where his only recourse was to die for our sin that we might have abundant life. So if you are ever in a predicament where you are falsely accused, just think upon what happened to him. You are not above your Master.

 God Bless
