Instinct gives us the God ability to understand our inner feelings and connections to the universe. It is one of the most vital gifts God has bestowed upon us. It is always good to develop this trait, giving attention to it keeps you protected from potential harms.  Listening to your inner voice and applying it when encountering people, places, or things will gain you much information.

It is a very important tool to possess, however it takes discipline to develop our sense of instinct. We must listen when it speaks with intention of application, or it really doesn’t matter what the gift tells us. God has given each one of us this powerful trait. Some are more developed than others in this arena because they spend the necessary time developing their God ability, and when you spend time developing it, it matures into what is known as discernment.

This is a gift that will open your senses. It will make you aware of your surroundings, movements, motives, and even thoughts. That’s why it is key to have this alongside you on your journey of purpose. It will inform you about how to position yourself while navigating terrains that are unfamiliar.

To leave you with an example, cats are the most instinctive creatures to me. If the wind blows a bit unusual, observe a cat. They get that arch in their back and will begin to trot to a better place of safety. This could be under a porch, car, or off someplace else, but they move. Their instinct has told them that trouble is near their environment, and they don’t want to be harmed. This is the same manner of instinct we should have.

We should be aware from all the information we’ve gathered that a things are changing on the horizon. Nonetheless, there are times when we are taken by surprise, and in those times we need to seek out another position to protect ourselves.
