Boaz was a man of wealth so when you are looking at him in regards to finances you are checking his pockets when you should actually be checking the richness of his soul. What I mean is you should be checking his character, but because the story tells us he was a rich man, most women are seeking someone of material value.
Listen to me, I am not encouraging you to date someone who is not goal oriented, or unequally yoked. I am simply saying that dating someone with character is much more important than dating someone with finances who treats you like the garbage can where you put your trash.
There are plenty of ordinary hard working guys out here with great character who will treat you with love and care. I’d rather ride in a Pinto with a man who truly loves me, than in a Maserati with a narcissist.
If you will read the story of Ruth, you will find that Boaz was also a man of great character because he was willing to redeem the house of his kinsman. (Family Member) So ladies if you think you have a Boaz, while you are checking his status if that’s your thing, please check for character as well.
