I started to walk about two months ago, and I never new that walking could be so soothing. There are many trees on my street so I actually got to enjoy the different shapes and sizes of them as I strolled pass the small neighborhood homes.

I actually felt like I was somewhere in a distant place as I listened to the birds chirping, and the sound of cars moving in the distant. The morning was cool, and the breezes smelled of sweet roses in the summer.

I looked up at the sky and felt blessed to be a part of Gods’ plan on such a beautiful morning. After all, I felt that he had made the weather perfect on this day just for me. And with all the beautiful nature that surrounds my walking path, I didn’t need to get a plane and travel cross country to enjoy something beautiful.

All I had to do was take a break from the hustle of life, and step out side my door to absorb creation and all the peace of knowing that God had made the morning beautiful just for me.

There are times when we just need to lay everything aside and enjoy the beauty of what God has created for us. To be grateful for the simplicities we take for granted everyday is actually what keeps us connected to the many blessings God has placed in our hands. (Ecclesiastic 3:11) Just A Little Food For Thought. 🙂
