There has been so much slander and hate in the news of late. We seem to have lost compassion for our fellowman. We have disconnected with anyone who does not share our point of view; pointing the finger has become a way of life, when in actuality we all have a certain responsibility for the societal corruptions taking place in our world.
We tread thin lines to advocate those who moderately share our views hoping to choose the lesser of evils. If you where going to choose the lesser evils you would choose not to support either. It is hypocritical to say we choose one over the other when in one there is a deep sentiment of hatred and bias, and the other has no boundaries.
What defines the lesser evil? It is Gods law which brings us to the conclusion by which we make decisions. It is the word of God which says that we should love our fellowman. He said, “On these two commandments hangs all the law and the prophets, you should love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and all your mind, and the second is like unto it, You should love your neighbor as yourself.”
These are the commandments my friend. (Matt 22-44) Man has not a place to put anyone after death, neither should he call up any fault belonging to another, but we are instructed to pray for our fellowman who has fallen; (Galatians 6:1) for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God! (3:23) Therefore, any agenda’s that do not comply with the two commandments on which hangs all the Old Testament with also the New Testament are not in compliance with the word of God.
God says there is forgiveness of all things, but Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, (Matthew 12:31) so how can we condemn what God has forgiven. Whether it be adultery, perverseness, lying, thieving, murder, whatever the fault! God forgives.
So that leaves me with hate…the Bible says if a man cannot love his brother who he sees, but claims to love God who he has not seen that same man is a liar; and the love of the father cannot dwell in him.(1 John 4:20) We were given two commandments by which to live; to love God and to love other’s above all else. Therefore all of our duty in regards to man should be done in love. Truth Be Told…????
