Luke 10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister have left me to serve alone? Tell her therefore to help me. (Martha was a busy body, not recognizing her time.) Time will return for no man. It passes like water under a bridge, be diligent with your time.
You ever wake up in the middle of the night thinking about tomorrows chores. You lie in bed planning the easiest route to a particular event, then you write out your grocery list, while timing the amount of time it will take to get back to your house in enough time to greet the school bus before the kids get home. All this in your head while lying in bed, and the task just keep coming. It’s called Work Overload!
There are times when you just have to say, No! Most of us have trouble being honest with ourselves. It’s like we’re afraid to tell people who require so much of our time we need a break. So….. we continue to allow them to fill our lives with their agenda’s.
I hate to be the person that brings the bad news or deals the hand of losing cards, but until you learn these two words…I Can”t, you will continue to live everyone’s life while your life sits on the shelf awaiting you.
Get up and get in the game. Live your life! Accomplish your goals, and if you don’t have any create some, with all the extra time you’ll have now that you cleared your schedule, there will be time for you. Now that you’ve got that out of the way….start planning. 🙂
