Some people can just cook You know the kind I’m talking about. I’m talking about the people who can make a green bean taste like a porterhouse steak dinner. My mother is one of those people. She does not cook as often now, but she can make cornbread melt in your mouth. She got it honest though.
My grandmother was the same way…..woman could throw down bless her soul. Lol! I do alright, but I love to spend time with people who enjoy the kitchen, better yet cooking in it. Instead of envying them I’d spend time with them, or just observe from a distance to learn how it’s done.
It really is O.k to learn from other people. If you are smart you will pay attention. Growth can comes from observation, listening, experience, and realizing that you can learn from anyone. It’s always great when the chef says, “Come taste.” Friend that’s what God is about to let you do. David said, “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm 34:8)
God is cooking up something for you. You may feel forgotten or that you will never see the light of day, but think about the lesson he’s teaching right now. Pay attention to the teacher. He has not forgotten you. He’s trying to use your present situation to propel you to the next level.
Please Don’t listen to the nay sayer’s around you, or the voices of doubt, but focus on the gift God has given you. Use what God has given you to the best of your ability, and watch him bring you out of your present situation!
Connect with positive people who want to see you do well. This might mean releasing some old relationships, particularly the ones that are not pushing you to achieve your goals. God will give you new friends, positive people in your life that will encourage your mission. Remember to stay focused, help others along the way, always give thanks , and keep moving! God Bless Your Journey. 🙂
