God will never put you on a path that leads to a dead end. Neither will he give you a work that he has not equipped you to finish. However, he does not always allow you to see the full plan he has designed for you. I heard that…I have often wondered why too. The answer seems to point in the direction developing character.
Yes. It’s hard not knowing the plan of God, but we can trust his plan because we trust his word. His word says, that his plans for us are to prosper us and not to harm us. He has plans to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah29:11-13)
I believe that God wants only good for his children. Nevertheless the assignment does not always feel good. If you feel that God has called you to the ministry, or he has given you a ministry and you are feeling so tired that you want to give up….don’t throw in the towel just yet, greater is about to be revealed. Take another look at the vision.
When a builder looks at his blueprint, sometimes he discovers that there are problems that he has to fix along the way. Your ministry may look a bit rocky. You may not be able to see how things will develop. You may not see Gods plan, but trust him.
He knows the tools you’ll need to tear down walls, break through stony places of earth. He will direct your path. Stay the course, keep the faith, and know that if he called you to do it, he will provide what you need to get the job done! Amen.
