I just love rainy days, especially when I don’t have to get out in them. There is much in the matter of chores one can accomplish on rainy days, that is if you decide to do them, Lawd! However, driving in the rain could leave you completely Wrecked! People just do not have any driving etiquette! Me….Me….Me, and my destination. No one wants to stay in their lane.

This is what causes casualties on the highway. So let me tell you…..this morning I was driving nicely and responsibly on the highway as usual, when a truck carrying a trailer just pushes in front of me almost pushing me into the right lane of traffic, it’s raining folks, and I truly wanted to blow my horn, but I refused to let it get the best of me.

I won’t act as if I wasn’t irritated by it because I was….Big Time! However I continued in the lane behind him, and you know what? He just trolled right on down the highway as if it was his right to endanger the lives of other people. Thank God for Angels and traveling mercies. (Psalm 91) Lawd! Thank You! 🙂

I was infuriated after I thought about his disregard, but I pulled it together and went on with my morning. It amazes me how people will never leave on time to be on time, but kill you getting to work.

They will get up, stretch, pack their lunches, listen to the news, iron their clothes, hopefully shower, dance to music, update their Facebook and Instagram status, and roll over you on the HIGHWAY!!  O.K……highway. 🙂  If you stay in your lane, we will all get to our destinations maybe not at the same time, but safely. Get my drift? 🙂

God Bless
