I woke up feeling grateful for everything in my life. It took a while for me to get to this place though, I have always wanted to fix everything that is broken. However this place of peace I could not have bought to myself. It has become the norm for me. When you are walking in peace you are in a place of contentment regardless of the storm in your life or your environment.

It is understanding that God is God of the storm. It is to relinquish what you think to be self power into the hands of God, allowing him to control your actions and quiet your spirit. (Mark4:39, KJV)

Yes… is self discipline. πŸ™‚ While retrain is difficult, it teaches you to control negative reactions, particularly in places of discomfort, because it is human nature to respond to discomfort or hurt. We want to feel comfortable at all times, and when there are disturbances we want to immediately put them to rest. πŸ™‚

However there are times when God wants us to take our hands off of our situation. He wants us learn to remain peaceful in the midst of our pain.Β  πŸ™‚ It is not until we learn this lesson that we truly can walk in faith.,Β  it is to know that he is in control, and not we ourselves. (Philippians 4:12)

So friend I would say to you if you are walking in discontentment, could it perhaps be because you are trying to interrupt what God is doing? Could it be you have not completely let go and placed your situation into the hands of God? If so….why don’t you yield, and let God have his way with it. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. AmenΒ  πŸ™‚
