SINGLE AND SEEKING BOAZ

If you are out on a date with a man who has a roving eye, please know that he is showing you who he is right then and there. If he is showing you on the first date that he cannot focus on you and make you feel like you are the only woman in the room after he has asked you out, know that it is a sign that this man is not one of loyalty, and as soon as you turn your back he will be chasing another skirt.

I am not saying that people cannot change. It is up to you to take the chance on love, but trust me…..this behavior does not change overnight and you will undoubtedly suffer much heartache because of it. Never allow your impatience or insecurities to undermine the person you are, or the plans that God has for you. When the right man comes along he will make you feel everything you need to secure your emotions.

You are not in an exclusive relationship just because you are on a date. You do not have to allow him to sabotage your enjoyment. If he is revealing himself on your date, let him. My suggestion would be to pretend you are in a movie theater and watch closely. Nine times out of ten if you say nothing, the film will keep rolling and he will think you’re down with his behavior while letting it all hang out!

TALK TO HIM

Prayer is an essential part of our daily devotion. It is how we communicate with God. Some would say it is a direct line to heaven. You should feel good knowing that you have direct access to the throne of God, and that you can bypass the traditions of men speaking with him regarding the concerns that trouble you.

If it makes you happy knowing that you can talk with God on your own, just imagine how he feels when he hears us cry out to him in prayer. Prayer shows your acknowledgement of God, it tells him that we want a relationship with him. Let me tell you he appreciates nothing more. It shows him our thoughts are with him just as his are so graciously with us each day.

Prayer is the key to opening the door to so many blessings. He said, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin (faults) and heal their land. (2.Chronicles 7:14) These are the requirements we must meet in order for God to hear our prayers. You must be sure to follow them if you want your circumstance to change. I’m not implying that you have done anything wrong, only that it benefits us to have everything in line with God when doing warship.

God says if we do these thing he will remove the dearth, and restore what has been taken, or loss. In conclusion prayer is our way of showing God adoration, It is the sweet incense we send to the throne of God which tells him we not only want to serve him in our daily lives, but we also want a sincere and close relationship with him. Jesus said, “we should always pray, and not give up.” (Luke 18-1) WEB.When we pray, we are communicating with God and allowing him to communicate with us the miracles, signs, and wonders he grants us on a daily basis. We form a reciprocated friendship, one that will last for all time.

INSTINCT HELPS US TO NAVIGATE!

Instinct gives us the God ability to understand our inner feelings and connections to the universe. It is one of the most vital gifts God has bestowed upon us. It is always good to develop this trait, giving attention to it keeps you protected from potential harms.  Listening to your inner voice and applying it when encountering people, places, or things will gain you much information.

It is a very important tool to possess, however it takes discipline to develop our sense of instinct. We must listen when it speaks with intention of application, or it really doesn’t matter what the gift tells us. God has given each one of us this powerful trait. Some are more developed than others in this arena because they spend the necessary time developing their God ability, and when you spend time developing it, it matures into what is known as discernment.

This is a gift that will open your senses. It will make you aware of your surroundings, movements, motives, and even thoughts. That’s why it is key to have this alongside you on your journey of purpose. It will inform you about how to position yourself while navigating terrains that are unfamiliar.

To leave you with an example, cats are the most instinctive creatures to me. If the wind blows a bit unusual, observe a cat. They get that arch in their back and will begin to trot to a better place of safety. This could be under a porch, car, or off someplace else, but they move. Their instinct has told them that trouble is near their environment, and they don’t want to be harmed. This is the same manner of instinct we should have.

We should be aware from all the information we’ve gathered that a things are changing on the horizon. Nonetheless, there are times when we are taken by surprise, and in those times we need to seek out another position to protect ourselves.

PATIENLY WAITING

I’ve  never been one to possess a lot of patience hence some of the experiences I have had ending in complete disaster. 🙂 I can smile when I look back upon some of my reasoning, but during the time of going through the process I cried out to God  so many nights for my actions, when if only I had yielded to the stop sign he had place before me , I could have omitted some of the pain. Well, life happens and a hard head makes for a soft behind.

You learn your lessons in the school of hard knocks when you are unable to wait!  Even though I have struggled with low tolerance, and the virtue of  patience. I must say that I have grown tremendously since the days of my youth. However there are still times when I feel myself wanting to act on what self wants to do, but will think back to those days and remember that the timing of God is everything.

I thank God for every experience I have had in my life, even the ones he did not intend for me, they have taught me to see the world through his eyes and have given me more reason to trust him. The scriptures tell us to ” Trust (wait ) in the Lord with all our hearts, and lean not unto our own understanding.” (NIV Proverbs 3: 5-6)

It is the ability to wait in those times that we do not understand the when that will get us to our next assignment, as well as mature us in our journey to obtain the virtue of patience. There was a time in my life when I would not be as transparent, however I don’t care so much about that now. I find that my story tells other’s that I have lived, and I have been vulnerable to making the same mistakes. I find myself believable, relatable, true to the person I have become with all things being as they should be….Wait on God, and Be of Courage, All Ye That Hope In The Lord!

God Bless……

HOW DO YOU STAND?

There will come a time in life when we have to stand for something or choose to fall for anything. There is so much going on in our world today that it would be wise to make a decision now. Do you really know what you believe? Are you ready to take a stand  for it? Sure, most of us will answer yes because we have not been tested. I’d like to think that I would take a stand for what I believe to be righteous as well.

Well let me tell you about three young men who had a brush with death because they were willing to take a stand. Now Nebuchadnezzar had set up an image for all the people in his province to worship. He had told them that at the sound of  the instruments every person would bow down to the graven image.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who where of Hebrew heritage and had entered into Babylon during the time of captivity refused to bow down and worship the brazen image because it was to them an idol, nor was it customary for the Hebrew people to worship other gods. As the proclamation stated any person who did not bow down to the graven image would be thrown into the fiery furnace, and so it went with them. They were each tossed therein.

These where young men who where so convinced of there faith that they were willing to die for it. Young people, will you submit to the peer pressures around you? Will you give in to the belief systems of other knowing well what you have been taught? I would hope you would be brave enough, and strong enough to stand in the day of your temptation. It is easier to follow the crowd, but honorable to take a stand for what you believe. The Bible tells us that there is no temptation that is not common to man. (we have all experienced temptations, they are not new) 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Your youth is a very tender time in your life. There is much to be desired, and so much to gain. The challenges will come as you enter a world filled with joys, and sorrows, accomplishment, and failures, courage, and fears. Make the choice to Journey with the knowledge that has been given you in your youth, and Stand ON IT! 🙂

WHERE IS YOUR TIME VALUE?

So I woke up early this morning as I generally do preparing to write this blog. I opened my Bible and turned to the book Of Daniel and begin to read chapter five. It is the chapter that tells of the banquet party, and the writing that appeared on the wall.

So I read it, but there was a verse in that chapter that stood out to me more than ever. It was verse twenty four where Daniel reveals to King Belshazzar all the gods that he had praised, and how he had forgotten to praise the one God who holds his life.

I have read this passage of scripture numerous times, but for some reasons it became so relevant. I know it is a reminder  because of the times we live in. Everything moves at such a fast pace that you barely have time to breathe before night  comes and it’s time for bed.

However God is not asking us for a lot of time. He is asking that we make him a part of our time. He is asking that we take a small portion of our day to give him thanks. He loves us and he wants a response to his love through our acknowledgement of him. He said,” if we acknowledge him in all our ways he will direct our path.” (Proverbs 3:6)

I am sure those of you who are in a marital relationship have an understanding of the importance of time investment. If you do not nurture your relationship by investing time, it dies. All God wants is a little bit of our time. Spend time with him, Get to know him, Build a daily relationship with him, All it takes is a small investment of your time. God Bless

EVERYTHING GIVES HIM PRAISE!

I have a small tree outside my window and there is a family of birds living in it. Every morning I awaken to the joyful sound of birds singing. They are happy and quite loud about it. Whatever song they are sing they’re all in agreement on the pitch too. I must tell you the sound is never quite the same; they sing a new song each morning. How can they sound differently each morning I thought to myself, but then I heard a voice speak to me and say because they have new joy! Amazing! Even the birds are making a joyful noise to our God.

Each morning they sing unto him a new song using the only instrument they have to praise him! Can you imagine if we would arise each morning just to sing unto him a new song, if we would awake each morning with new joy! I know that in life sometimes we don’t always feel Joyous, but we should always feel joyous about God. He is the reason for our joy who gives us strength to endure all things.

Psalm 33:3 reads, “Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.” God enjoys our PRAISE! That is what the birds do early every morning, they use their instruments to play skillfully with a loud noise, singing unto him a joyful song of praise. And if the birds can do it each morning we can too. Let everything that has breadth PRAISE YE THE LORD!
