I try to stay true to myself when writing. After all I am the one who walks in the shoes I wear so it pays to be true about my journey. It is interesting how people will try to tell your story and not speak the truth about their own. Jesus said it best when the Pharisees wanted to condemn the adulterous woman. , He said unto them,” he that is without sin among you cast a stone at her.” (John 8:7).
Yeah! No further explanation. We all know what happened next, and if you don’t again you can read it here- (John 8:7). Anyway as I was saying people love the idea of telling others people’s stories, but will act as if they have never done anything that requires the blood of Jesus to cover their own faults. I admit, I’m not perfect, just forgiven friend, and you can be too. (Acts 2:38)
If we could stop trying to watch our brothers faults and get busy we would probably be a firehouse. Transparency is a better way to reach other’s. How are people suppose to know that Jesus did anything for us if we won’t tell them.
Even if you were born into the church you still have a testimony of deliverance of some sort, whether it be depression, anger, gossip, loneliness, something you can tell or share with someone else that will help them to connect to a living God! (Romans 3:23)
Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms are great to help us extend ministry outside of the parameter of our neighborhoods, but what about our neighborhoods. We’ve got to stir the pot. It doesn’t matter that we’re in different locations. What matter’s is that we join hands and work together to complete the task at hand. It’s time….Amen.

I just love rainy days, especially when I don’t have to get out in them. There is much in the matter of chores one can accomplish on rainy days, that is if you decide to do them, Lawd! However, driving in the rain could leave you completely Wrecked! People just do not have any driving etiquette! Me….Me….Me, and my destination. No one wants to stay in their lane.
This is what causes casualties on the highway. So let me tell you…..this morning I was driving nicely and responsibly on the highway as usual, when a truck carrying a trailer just pushes in front of me almost pushing me into the right lane of traffic, it’s raining folks, and I truly wanted to blow my horn, but I refused to let it get the best of me.
I won’t act as if I wasn’t irritated by it because I was….Big Time! However I continued in the lane behind him, and you know what? He just trolled right on down the highway as if it was his right to endanger the lives of other people. Thank God for Angels and traveling mercies. (Psalm 91) Lawd! Thank You! 🙂
I was infuriated after I thought about his disregard, but I pulled it together and went on with my morning. It amazes me how people will never leave on time to be on time, but kill you getting to work.
They will get up, stretch, pack their lunches, listen to the news, iron their clothes, hopefully shower, dance to music, update their Facebook and Instagram status, and roll over you on the HIGHWAY!! O.K……highway. 🙂 If you stay in your lane, we will all get to our destinations maybe not at the same time, but safely. Get my drift? 🙂

I won’t lie. There are days when you feel as though you want to quit! Quit Working, Quit Pressing, Quit Parenting, Quit Caring,QUIT! QUIT! QUIT! 🙂 Life will make you want to throw in the towel, particularly when you feel it isn’t fair…..Just saying. You’ve been persistent in giving of your time, energy, efforts.
You’ve done the best you can with what’s been placed into your hands, and still you don’t see the fruit of your labor. Keep working my friend. It takes a garden time to flourish. If you think about the process, it might encourage you.
I can’t imagine the amount of work farmer’s put into prepping their fields to harvest grains, or cotton. However I do know that there are at least three components and a waiting period before they get to see one grain of wheat, or cotton bulb.
There is also lots of scientific involvement i.e., the sun, rain, time of year. I say that to remind you of the process. Development takes time. So don’t be so hard on yourself. Relax. God sees your faithfulness, and he will reward you in due season. (Galatians 6:9) Keep pressing and know that his timing is perfect.
I Believe This! He IS A HEALER!
Your life can change in an instance, and when change happens it’s not always easy, or even adaptable. But yes…. you can be forced to adapt to change if you don’t move when it tells you to.
You’ve seen the writing on the wall , however your heart tells you to stay the course, even though you hear the alarm bells ringing in your head. I know it’s difficult to make the choice to pursue something different. That job you lost is not always your co-workers or company working against you. Sometimes it’s God pushing you down a better path.
We spend most of our lives dreaming of the person we want to become, and not fulfilling the call or responsibility it takes to become that person. Why? Because we have to change and complacence feels just fine.
Well friend God has more for you. He wants you to step out on the water. He wants you to broaden your view. He wants you to get ready for Bigger! (Isaiah 54:2) He wants you to open the window so he can rain down manna! (Malachi 3:10) Don’t fear the change or the process, Jump! Don’t wait until he pushes you….Let Go! Let God!
Parents know there children. They observe them as babes all the way up until they leave their home. So they know their personality. They generally know if their child will participate in certain activities, are if they have done something displeasing just by looking at them.
This is much in the same way God knows us, but he knows us better because he formed us. (Jeremiah 1:5) Nothing is hid from him. God wants us to be transparent. In doing so we help other’s by leaving a living testament to the truth of his word.
Transparency is necessary if you are going to be true to who you are. Oftentimes we like to hide in the shadows of who we want people to believe that we have become. There may be some truth to who you are, but what’s on the inside?
You have clothed yourself in the darkness that has become your chamber of deceit. You have locked yourself in and thrown away the key, yet you scream for help from within. Arise and take off your mask.
There is no need to hide anymore. Open the door and let the light in, let it shine into the smallest of corners, from the window of ones heart to the door of ones soul.(Matthew 7:7) Let the light shine. God wants to deliver you.
He wants to set you free. He wants to peel back all the hurt, heal you and remove your misery, but you have to open the door, and Take off your MASK.

There are many ways to relax the body. Many times people enjoy going away and getting away from it all. That’s fine , except most times when you are on vacation you find yourself in motion more than when you are in your regular dwelling place. So for me….as Dorthy says, “There is no place like home.”
Don’t get me wrong. I would love to travel abroad to see, as well as experience other cultures, art, food, and music. Gracious forget about abroad. There is so much that I have not seen here in the states. However…..I still feel my home is my castle. It’s not about how large or small, but more about comfort.
There are times when we become relaxed spiritually, we get comfortable and complacent. We take a spiritual vacation. 🙂 It is in these times that God will send a challenge our way to get us out of our comfort zone and cause us to stretch.
I am reminded of how an athlete before he or she begins to indulge a sport, they stretch. They work their muscles to loosen them up in preparation for the workout! Well friend God wants us to keep our spiritual man stretched, and ready for a workout! He does not want us relaxed spiritually.
This is why he said,”watch and pray.” (Luke 21:36) KJV If you are watching and praying your spiritual eyes are open. Therefore you can not be in a relaxed state of mind. It is when we are not paying attention because of the noise, distractions clouding our environment that we fall asleep.
It pays to stay awake, particularly in this hour when in the twinkling of an eye he could make his appearing. (1 Corinthians 15:52). It’s time to come off of vacation and get back on post! Watch, Pray, Stay Awake…. :)(Matthew 26:40)

TAKE YO’ HANDS OFF FOLKS!! LET GOD DO IT!!
I’m pretty much a loner, but I really do enjoy people. Does that make sense? Other than my relationship with God family is the next dearest matter to my heart. I absolutely adore my parent’s.
As a teen I didn’t always understand them, but boy….. when I say after I had my own children everything fell right in place. I understood all of their reasoning., and certainly appreciated them for it! 🙂
When my dad was here I would spend Saturdays with them, but now I try to plan Friday dates with mom. She is absolutely hilarious. We went to lunch and to see the emoji movie.
She knows nothing of emoji’s, but she did catch the storyline 🙂 🙂 :). Lord willing, I can hardly wait until next week for our next adventure! I really had a Great DAY! (Exodus 20:12) 🙂 Come Join Us! She would not mind a bit, she has children everywhere.
PS….It’s O.k….You still laugh the same, Love with a big heart, and have given me the best happiness that you possibly could in all the ways that you possibly could, and I love you for it, Mom! 🙂
